Rory joined ARPS in 2012, straight from university and achieved his RPA and RWA certifications in his first 3 years with the company.

Rory has been performing radiation compliance audits since late 2012 and has visited many of the oil and gas production and processing sites in the UK and overseas which we advise. He regularly conducts on-site training sessions and is involved in teaching on the various training courses held by ARPS. Rory acts as the focal point for a client in Southern Iraq; this work includes carrying out site visits, developing procedures and conducting on-site training courses.  He also conducts on-site RPS training and audits in Oman.

Rory leads our non-ionising radiation assessment and surveying work and has carried out numerous surveys in the energy sector and education sector. Rory has played a key role in developing the methods used by ARPS to process and analyse land survey data using ArcGIS. This has allowed ARPS to deliver detailed visual plots from surveys of large and complex sites He is  also involved in several oil and gas decommissioning projects in the UK and West Africa. His involvement in these projects has included the provision of radiation protection and radioactive waste management advice, provision of radiological / NORM surveys and communications with regulators and stakeholders in various regions.
