Transport Drums are packages suitable for all modes of transport that are designed and tested to meet the specification of “Type A package”.
They allow the transport of radioactive material in solid form including nucleonic gauges, LSA & SCO items to the levels specified within the transport regulations.
The transport drums allow the safe and compliant movement of radioactive materials from either offshore or onshore installations to the intended destination. The robust design ensures that the items are protected from minor mishap conditions that may be seen during the transport operations.
The drums come in various sizes and carry weights of up to 400Kg.
